Unveiling a fresh new brand: Logo design and website development for Smart Blinds Online
At Smart Blinds Online we had an idea to create a new way to purchase high quality, made to measure, motorised blinds. Our blinds are designed to be a functional part of the modern smart home, we needed a brand and website to reflect this.
When we introduced the idea to Loop they were just as enthusiastic as we are about the idea. From this initial conversation we got the ball rolling on logo and website design almost immediately. Loop listened to all of our feedback which resulted in a logo that perfectly sums up our idea. With the website design it was always tricky as we needed a full ecommerce site that needed to stand out in a very competitive market. We are so pleased with the outcome, but we now need people to find it online.
The SEO part of the process is probably the most difficult as it requires lots of patience from our side. Loop are brilliant with feedback and we have a monthly meeting to discuss progress and strategy.
Overall we are very pleased and look forward to seeing the website and business continue to grow in partnership with Loop.

The Client Goals
When Smart Blinds Online came to us, they were looking to launch their new business. They were in need of the full starter package: logo design, website design, website development, eCommerce integration and hosting. They didn’t want to just stop there, they also wanted to make sure that customers would find their new website, which meant it needed to be built with search engine optimisation in mind.
The Strategy
We teamed up with Smart Blinds Online to design their website and create a unique logo. First, we carefully planned the website structure using a detailed roadmap called a sitemap. This roadmap was created by combining our research with Smart Blinds Online’s industry knowledge, ensuring the website would be easy to find by the right audience.
Next, we worked closely with Smart Blinds Online to understand their unique needs and preferences, including their desired website functionality, design elements and preferences. We didn’t just focus on functionality – we also paid attention to the design details that would match their brand vision.
The collaboration led to the design of the homepage, where every element was chosen to make the website user-friendly and align with the brand. At the same time, our design team created several logo options for Smart Blinds Online to choose from along with a variety of colour schemes to choose from. We wanted them to be part of the decision-making process. We made sure Smart Blinds Online had a variety of choices during the logo design, presenting them with different options that reflected various aspects of their brand. This back-and-forth process ensured the final logo not only met but exceeded their expectations, creating a visually stunning symbol that perfectly matched their brand.
Final Design
Every website built by Loop is unique to that client’s specific needs and we headed into the build process knowing exactly what we needed to achieve.
- We created a login area where users can see a dashboard of their orders.
- Easy to use product pages which included additional functionality to provide a measurement and price calculator for the customer so they can easily measure up their blinds and get an instant online price.
- Created a useful knowledge centre for users.
